Rural Cooperative Development Grants

You can help! Ask your Senators and Representatives to support the RCDG program.

Administered by the Department of Agriculture, the RCDG program is the only national program dedicated to building the cooperative development infrastructure to enhance economic opportunity in rural areas. Competitive grants are made available to non-profit corporations and institutions of higher learning. The members of CooperationWorks!—a network of co-op development centers and an NCBA partner—receive grants to support their work to develop new co-ops and provide assistance to established co-ops in rural America.

RCDG funding is provided through annual congressional appropriations. Each year, NCBA asks Congress for increased funding for this critical co-op development program.
